J Leigh is a newly emerging singer-songwriter whose sultry, dynamic voice leads listeners into a world of reflection and empowerment. 

As a creative growing up in Wisconsin, she immersed herself in opportunities that highlighted her artistic expression in the form of singing, dancing, and acting. Somewhere during her time playing leads in school musicals such as: High School Musical (Sharpay Evans) , The Music Man (Marian The Librarian), Curtains (Bambi), and All Shook Up (Miss Sandra) J fell in love with songwriting and performing and decided to pursue a life of artistry.

After high school, she left small town Green Bay to seek out new perspectives, relationships and opportunities at Columbia College Chicago. Over the years, she has performed original sets at various venues around the area, built many friendships, became an educator at The School Of Rock Oak Park and has curated a unique sound that represents and reflects her emotive clarity. 

Through passionate lyricism, J Leigh approaches storytelling with an emotional grace reminiscent of artists such as Billie Eilish, Sabrina Claudio, Stevie Nicks, and Christina Aguilera. 

With her upcoming single "Closer", J Leigh demonstrates strength in vulnerability; highlighting the inner workings of the creative and challenging those negative voices that disrupt the process, and sometimes, even inspire it.
